The Red Herring Top 15 India Companies 2007

These 15 winners were selected by the Red Herring Team as the most interesting start-ups in India. We compiled our own list of India disrupting companies that we feel will change the way existing companies in India will work in the future.

While these companies are all excellent, the companies on the Red Herring list are diverse. There is not a central theme or trend in the list which makes the list more of a “best in class” India start up register.

My favorite of the list below is PayMate where wireless transactions can occur between two mobile users. I think mobile is the short term business strategy that investors should be focused on as one near the top of their priority list.
