Yes, you heard it right. BMW has launched 320d Highline in India and The India street has the exclusive picture of the model. We also have a bit of information about the car, read on to find out more about the car.
News agency Press Trust of India (PTI) has quoted Peter Kronschnabl, India president of BMW, as saying: "By popular customer demand, we are proud to introduce the BMW 320d Highline, diesel variant of the BMW 3 Series that comes with added features including iDrive functionality and a HiFi loudspeaker system." PTI also reported that BMW plans to increase its dealerships in India from the present nine to 12 by the end of 2008. It aims to sell 2,000 units in the country by the end of 2008.
The BMW 320d Highline will feature xenon headlamps and, wait for this – a glass roof! Then there are regular things to add to the bling factor like chrome door surrounds. The power rating of the engine is expected to go up a little as well. The 320d Highline also comes with the much famous iDrive function which sort of works as a control system of the car. The car also comes equipped with lighter, smarter alloy wheels. The BMW 320d Highline is priced a lakh more than the regular 320d and stands to set you back by Rs. 30,70,000.
